Warranty Information
4 min readMedical equipment warranties typically cover manufacturing defects and component failures under normal use for a defined period, often one to two years depending on the manufacturer and product line. Consumables, accessories, and damage from misuse or unauthorized repairs are usually excluded.
To keep a warranty valid, most manufacturers require that installation, maintenance, and repairs be performed by authorized personnel, and that the equipment be used within its specified operating conditions. This is one of the reasons we recommend having our team or an authorized technician handle servicing, rather than a third party unfamiliar with the equipment.
It's also worth keeping installation and maintenance records on file, since these are often requested when filing a warranty claim.
