Introduction

ICare Life Medical Devices, Inc. ("ICare Life," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of everyone who visits our website or engages with our business. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other applicable issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

By accessing icarelifemedical.com or providing your information to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through:

  • icarelifemedical.com and its subpages
  • Contact forms, quote requests, and product inquiry forms
  • Demo request and support request submissions
  • Cookies and similar technologies used on this website

This policy does not cover information we may receive through offline channels, such as printed forms or in-person meetings, or through third-party platforms not owned or operated by ICare Life, which may be subject to their own separate privacy notices.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information directly from you when you interact with our website, such as when you submit an inquiry or request a quotation, product demonstration, or support assistance.

Information you provide directly may include:

  • Full name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Company or institution name, job title, or designation
  • Product or service of interest
  • Message content and any details you choose to share

Information collected automatically may include:

  • Browser type, version, and device or operating system information
  • IP address and general location (city or country level)
  • Pages visited and time spent on the website
  • Local preference data stored on your device, such as dark mode, privacy-notice acknowledgment, catalog display preference, and recent search terms

Information

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, such as patient health records or clinical data, through this website. If you inadvertently include such information in a message to us, we will handle it with the same care and confidentiality required under the Data Privacy Act.

How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries, quotation requests, and product questions
  • To schedule and coordinate product demonstrations
  • To provide technical support and after-sales assistance
  • To process and fulfill business transactions
  • To improve our website, products, and services
  • To send you relevant updates about products or services you've inquired about
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations

We do not use your personal information for purposes unrelated to those stated above without first obtaining your consent, where required by law.

Browser Storage

This website does not use HTTP cookies. Instead, it stores a small amount of preference data in your browser using standard web storage (such as local storage and, for AICare, session storage and the Cache API). This data stays on your device and is used only to:

  • Remember your display preference (e.g., dark mode)
  • Remember that you dismissed the privacy notice
  • Remember catalog display preferences (e.g., grid or list view)
  • Store a short list of your recent search terms on this device so you can reuse them in search suggestions
  • Remember AICare setup status and keep an in-tab chat session while you browse (session storage / Cache API)

We do not use browser storage for third-party advertising or behavioral tracking, and we do not send recent search terms to our servers for analytics. You may clear recent searches anytime from the search suggestions panel, or clear all site data through your browser settings; however, preferences such as dark mode may not be remembered on your next visit.

Information

Clearing local or session storage will not prevent you from browsing our website, but preferences, such as dark mode, catalog view, and recent searches, may reset.

On-Device AI Assistant (AICare)

On compatible browsers, this website offers AICare, an optional chat assistant that helps you find products, solutions, and support content. AICare is designed to run entirely on your own device, using your browser's built-in graphics processing (WebGPU) to run the AI model locally.

What this means in practice:

  • Messages you type into AICare are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to ICare Life's servers for the AI to generate a reply.
  • To work, AICare downloads a small AI model file the first time you use it, and your browser caches it on your device (using standard browser storage such as the Cache API) so it doesn't need to be downloaded again on later visits.
  • This cached model file is functional on-device storage needed for the feature to work, it is not used for advertising or to track you across websites.
  • Checking whether your browser supports this feature (a WebGPU capability check) is a technical compatibility check only, it does not identify or profile you.
  • If your browser or device doesn't support this feature, you'll see our standard WhatsApp contact button instead, no AICare download or processing occurs.
  • If AICare directs you to continue the conversation on WhatsApp, Viber, or our Contact page, anything you share there is then processed under the "Data Sharing and Disclosure" and "Third-Party Services" sections below, like any other inquiry.

Privacy

Please avoid entering patient health records or other sensitive clinical data into AICare, the same way we ask you not to include such information in our regular contact forms.
